Had alignment, how does one get more neg camber.
I took my '86 911 Carrera ROW in for an alignment in hopes of being able to achieve negative 2 camber to run in my next event. Much searching of the forums lead me to believe that negative 2 was achievable and required to run my choice in tire along with fender rolling.
How does one actually do this? The shop was only able to dial in -1 The plan was to get enough clearance to run 225/50 16 on a 7.5" Borbet Design A wheel up front. Clearance on the 245/45 16 in the rear was no problem. The front end of my car consists of Koni adjustables, Rennline sealed monoballs and is at stock Euro height, stock camber plates, stock torsion bars, the tire is a Toyo RA-1 and full tread depth. Any input appreciated, -Ivan |

You have several things you can do. In order of cost effectiveness:
- Ovalize the hole for the camber plate bolts, allowing greater range of motion - De-cambered ball joints - Offset camber plates - De-cambered spindles there are a few other tricks.

Before I go down any of these paths, just to be clear. What is the max negative camber that can be expected using mainly stock parts? Was the -1 achieved on my alignment about all one can expect?
I really did blow it with my research on this one.
