turbo/supercharger battery question
This is probably a stupid question but.......If one upgrades from a na engine to a turbo or supercharger, the compression ratio is now increased as well. That be said, will it take a stronger battery to turn over the same motor with the new effective comp ratio?

The compression ratio is not increased until the turbo or supercharger is on boost, and that is after the engine starts.
In many cases the C/R is lowered for a turbo or S/C application (new pistons or headwork) making the engine easier to turn over. In short, you don't need to upgrade your battery.
