Need help with ajusa cool brake kit install

How the heck do you get the hoses over the rotor base and the air scoop? I can't get them even close. Seems like the diameter of the metal rings in the hose is much smaller the diameter of attachment point. Can I pull the metal rings out and just attach the cloth with the clamps?

Sean,
I would say the metal rings are embedded in the high heat tubing for the ducts. Double check the measurements. If I recall correctly, the AJ duct inlet is oval so you have to really muscle the duct tubing. Might try a little (very little) lube on the duct ends.
Make sure you put the clamps on first so you don't have to remove the hose again. (don't ask!)

Good point about the clamps, I would have screwed that up and that would have sucked. I just can't get the darn things on. Maybe I need more muscle

Are you sure you have the right diameter hose? Did it come with the kit?

Thanks guys...I got it finally. The trick was to separate some of the wire from the tubing in order to pull it over the cylinder. It was a PITA.
