930 4 speed w/o shims!! Hello, I have to rebuild an 83 930 box. The r&p is damaged so I get a replacement matched set in good condition but w/o the shims stack with it... There is some numbers scribed on the ring and on the pinion also. Is there anyone how might be able to tell me what thickness how many shims I need as I have read that the cases are all in same tolerances machined ? Also I need 1 and 2 gear sets anyone have some for sale ? And a very serious question can I put a 915 open diff in a 930 box ?? Thank you all VERY MUCH for your great help!!!
