Cold Start MFI - How long

Just went out and started the 911E 2.0. It has been sitting for roughly 2 weeks as I got back from a long business trip. When I started cranking, I got to the count of 3 and the car was running. On the second start, it started in 1. Is this normal? Thanks Dom

Dom, Nothing unusual about that. It may be a sign that your MFI nozzles don't seal perfectly long term but no big deal if everything normally works OK. When you go to crank the engine, always turn the ignition to “on” for a few seconds. This allows the electric fuel pump to clear the bubble out of the fuel circulating system. You can hear the bubble return to the fuel tank. If you crank too soon, the bubble can slow the starting process. Best, Grady
