hi all well finally ive bought a new toy my 80 930.
for us here down in oz i was lucky to get a oz delivery one and not a import from asia.
only mods so far ive done is a k27 7200 turbo ,1 bar spring. i was lucky the motor was already rebuilt with new pistons .rods crank barrells. i am looking for a new intercooler and exhausts so any opinions would be gr8.

Nice looking car, particularly the wheels. You're lucky in that all the expensive work has been done too to free you up to spend on upgrades!

What colour is it though, it appears to be black?

In any case, enjoy!

Very nice looking 930! Congratulations!

I have a Mille-Miglia Dual-Tip Stainless Steel 930 Exhaust for sale if you want. It'd compliment that K27-7200 nicely Or, if u want to upgrade that K27-7200 with a K27 High Flow, I can help you with that too. I'd give you a great price!

As for intercooler, you really can't go past a Kokeln unit, or if you want it to look stock, try and source a C2 Turbo Intercooler.

Boost, I'm in Brisbane.

You'll enjoy the p-car club here too. They are a great bunch of guys and we have regular track days (at least 1 per month) where around 40 cars participate on average (not bad for a club with 250 members). the scoail club is also very active if that's more your deal as well.

Welcome!

the wheels are a roh and i agree look good but im after some ruf speedlines if i can get at the right price.
luckily the car was in good orig condition it only needs things like weather seals and some very basic maintenace.
ive just also put recaros in and was the best thing ive done for driver comfort.all in all im happy with it and its becoming a good base for future plans.i have a wants list in the parts section so if any body has the parts im needing please let me know .thanks so much for oppinions

For an IC you should go as large as possible. Full bay is the only way to go. I just had a unit custom fabbed for mine. I wish I would have done it in the first place because I lost almost 800.00 on the sale of my Garrettson cooler and it was like new. Here is a pic of my cooler.

I think hands down the IC, Headers, and muffler are where your money is best spent. I would do this before you decide to go to a HF turbo. The K27/7200 works very well if you plan on staying with CIS.

JMO, anyway here's the pic.

Glad I could poor gasoline on the fire for you!!! Beautiful car with very unique wheels! Keep us posted on your progress.
