Creative automation project

I am in the process of adding power locks to my 70 E. I purchased the SPAL lock setup from Darren at Pelican Parts. I have already wired the locks into the keyless portion of my aftermarket alarm but I'm getting greedy and have added the central lock button(lit red one in center console of most Carreras). It seems as if it should be simple enough. There is a dual plug wiring harness. Two separate two wire junctions. The first has a brown and a gray. The second has a blue and a yellow. I'm fairly certain the brown is ground. I'm thinking one set of wires should power the swith and the other should send a 12 volt signal to the actuators when depressed. I can't seem to get it to operate like that. Anyone with a schematic or thoughts please post or email. Thanks in advance.
