Closeup picture of 964 front bumper and lip?

I am installing this 964 front bumper lip, and I was wondering if the lip must be installed on top of the fenders.

Please show me closeup picture of the bumper

Zendalar, do you have more info on the conversion. Are you using an original 964 bumper or an after market one? How are you attaching it to the car?

It is an aftermarket, very thin shell bumper, weighs about 5kg. I laminated 2 metal pipes to the bumper which I connected to the sides of the front end. To the place where shorthoods have their battery boxes.

Then I just drilled couple holes to the bumper, to the places where it attaches to the wings (front fenders).

Thats about it. Holds up just nice and tight.

That picture, well, would need one way closer, like a picture which you take if you want to take a photo of the lamp (from the above).

Why do you need the rubber smile, I think it looks good without it?
I have never really understood why the old 911 has so much rubber between all the parts anyway!?!

The front lip is sandwiched between the bumper and the fenders. Along the hood it is supposed to be screwed in or held on with plastic rivets, but on mine, I didn't bother as the hood holds it down. I also have a fiberglass kit that I installed. Excuse the dirty car. I've been working to put it back together since I got it back from the painter, but don't have all the windows it yet to wash it. As usual, it's taking way longer than I hoped or expected....
