Will a 2.7 Bosch dizzy work with a 2.0?

Guys,

I'm remote today and don't have BA's book to check as a reference. Will a Bosch dizzy for a 2.7 work with a 2.0 engine? Does it need to be recurved with the Weber carbs on the 2.0?

Thanks,

Dion

Yes, it will work just fine, with, or without the vacuum retard hooked up, but I assume you are talking about the run-of-the-mill CIS 2.7 engine version which had a 6500 rpm rev-limiting rotor. If your 2.0 application is a higher-revving version, a new rotor would be advisible.

Thanks for the reply. This would be for a basic 2.0 running Weber 40's. Nothing fancy, and nothing to hook the vacuum to.

Thanks again,

Dion
