Hi and thanks in advance,
Can anyone weight in on the who's & how much's to re-valve a set of boge's for my 1976 Carrera 3.0. I want to set-up the car for track & street with 22 front & 28 rear torsion bars. I don't mind firm and currently run 21/27's with bilstein sports on my 83SC targa, and I love the feel of that set-up for street only, some auto-x. Thanks again, Phil ![]()

Hi Hank,
I don't really know whether Boge's can be revalved or not; at least I don't recall anybody mentioning this in the past. If it's possible, I suppose someone here may chime in, but if not, you might want to try contacting Boge directly, or think about converting to Bilsteins. Free bump too. ![]() ianc

Assuming thay're bilsteins...
You can send them to Bilstein directly and they'll revalve them for about $65 each. Not sure how they get the valve settings, but I think they calc them from your specs. You can also send them to Steve Weiner or Smart Racing, who'll have them revalved for about $120 each. The extra $55 is for their knowledge in setting up Porsches for the track.
