Headlight part number question - 73 2.4E
 

Does anyone know the part no. of the screw that attaches the lower edge of the headlight assembly to the tab on the front guard (fender)?

The lights are Euro H4's and are mounted by a lip at the top engaging a matching lip on the top of the guard and this screw on the bottom.

The tab is inside the headlight recess on the guard and I'm pretty sure has a threaded hole.

The PO of my 73 2.4E has used some self tapping screws which keep working loose. From memory, the correct screw has a plain cylindrical part of larger dia near the head and a threaded part of smaller dia on the other end.

a pelican search on that no. yeilded "Part Superceded to 90027006307", which is "H5 Trim Ring Screw, 911 (1987-89)"

do you think this will fit a 73?
