Identify this MFI throttle body (has odd part number)

Hi All,

I'm selling off some rare NOS parts that were included when I bought my 911S to help fund its restoration. I have a pair of New Old Stock throttle bodies for what I thought was an "S" MFI system. I think these were purchased as an "upgrade" to my S though. I want to know what exactly I have before I list them for sale.

The part number stamped into the side of both of them is:

901.110.1010R

I couldn't find them in the PET, all the other throttle bodies have a 911 part number. Could these be some rare kind of stacks, like from a 911R or 911ST? They came with some other NOS race parts like a 10K RPM tach (already sold) and factory straight pipes, Look for these in the classified section soon, I will be taking offers.

Probably a 1969 911E TB set ... those raw casting numbers don't always track closely to the finished part number, but those are closer to 1969 911E than 911S numbers.

Measure the port size at the head flange ... to get a better idea.

NOS = New Old Stock. Did a throttle body come off the parts shelf with adjustment/settings paint on it?

The port size at the head flange is 1 7/16" or 36.1mm. Can you tell if they're for an E or S? The guy I bought them from was trying to build a race car, so I doubt he would have bought E throttle bodies.

I was told they were NOS, but they could be rebuilt. They sure seem new...perhaps the red paint is to make them return proof...once you break the seal you can't return them. Just a theory, please correct me.

36 mm would equate to 911S ports, so they are probably pn #901.110.034.00 TBs for a 2.0 1969 911S.
