What color whales's tale screen and vent

I have black car 84 with 930 spoiler. Car is black. What color was the factory screen and vents? Mine are grey, chipped, discolored.

I think Wurth satin black is what you're looking for. They do get grey with the sun's bleaching. BTW, I have used Rustoleum satin black as a substitute for a long time now and it seems to work well.

thanx. on related topic, previous owner had mirrors painted on car and the got overspray inside of driver door by hinges. Body shop told me I could get off with lacquere thinner unless original paint was lacquere. Was original lacquere? thanx r.t.

+1 Wurth satin black - same as oem fuchs. Since I don't know about the original paint, I would let a body shop handle the overspray. Shouldn't cost alot and could be a "while-you-wait" deal.
