911 A/C hoses
Does my 89 911 have barrier hoses as standard equip. Or are they any better than the pourous hoses I've been reading about in the older 911.

I do not know if you have the barrier hoses (I think that they are stamped on it). Yes, barrier hoses are better but at 4 bucks a can for R134 if you loose some and have to recharge even every year it's 20.00 or so.

The " barrier" hoses are on cars with the
R134A A/C systems from what I have been able to tell, you might find the site www.griffiths.com informative. |
