Thanks Steve Wilkinson. for "clearing" that up. A little information goes a long way in calming all of us who care about the man!

I'm late to the party, but I'm very glad he's coming through O.K.

Hope you're back to healthy and back to work soon Steve!

Gentlemen (and ladies):

I'd like to offer a genuine and heartfelt "Thank You" for everyone's kind words, well wishes, and thoughtfuless expressed here. To be honest, I was just stunned.

Recently, I was unexpectedly hospitalized with some complex intestinal issues (see Mr. Wilkinson's post) that not only disrupted my work schedules, but also prevented my normal timely responses to e-mail, telephone calls, and commercial inquiries/orders. I really didn't realize how many tubes, hoses, and cables can be hooked to a human being at one time. :)

My deepest apologies for any inconveniences for anyone trying to reach me.

At least for the present, nobody can say that I'm "full of it". :)

What an apology from someone in your state are you seeking martyrdom or something get well soon.

Glad to hear you were able to attend to the backpressure issue with simple bolt-ons. No need to split the case and do machine work.

Welcome back :)

CBRacerX 09-18-2006 11:06 AM

Super to "hear" from you again! Don't stop streaming out the advice :D

Steve:
Glad to see it was just your "flux capacitor" needing a little tweeking.
Happy to see you are away from the hospital.
Don't you know that those places are just for sick people?:D

Seriously, good to see you are back....now where are those dang parts of mine!?!?!?!
hehe....just joking.
If you need any help boxing up all your shipments that have been delayed while you were out.... just give me a call.
I'll come down and help you out for a couple of evenings.SmileWavy

Whew....my Mom actually died from that issue and complications, so i am glad to hear you're fine. It always sucks when a Pelican goes "missing" and there's no news. Glad this all......worked itself out. Sorry, couldn't resist.

ChrisBennet 09-18-2006 11:41 AM

You had us worried Steve. Glad you're back!

Geesh, is this what it takes for you to take some time off?;)
This is not the vacation the wifee was talking about...
Talking about cheap. :D (Inside Joke all)

Perhaps this story is appropriate for the situation:

A surgeon and mechanic were discussing their respective jobs.

The mechanic claims their jobs are comparable because both occupations require excellent hand-eye coordination, patience and keen diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. We should be earning the same amount of money for our skills.

The doctor shot back with, "Yes, but only one of us does it with the engine running."

rim shot.

welcome back Steve.

Sherwood:

That was eloquently spoken, sir. :) Thank you.
