Steve Weiner

I read on Rennlist that apparently Steve Weiner (Steve@rennsportsystems) is in the hospital. No other information is available.

He's been a great resource for many on the board. My thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery.

Mark Wilson 09-12-2006 05:05 PM

Get well Steve.

That sucks, haven't heard from him in a while, maybe that is why. All those who have had the pleasure of dealing with him I am sure wish him well.

His wife sent me an e-mail stating that he was in the hospital. I'll the medical diagnosis out of it. We can all send him a card to let him know how much we think of him.

I live in Portland, and just communicated with Steve last week. Didn't know this was in the works...

Perhaps one person can keep in touch with his wife and keep us all informed???

I echo everything said before...get well quick, hoping it's not too serious, we're all missing you!
Steve is an incredible guy, generous, knowledgable, etc, etc....

JSDSKI 09-13-2006 08:25 AM

Steve -

Get well as fast as the Porsches you build and the questions you answer !!

Early_S_Man 09-13-2006 11:05 AM

No fan of hospital stays, here, though they are sometimes required.

Get well soon, Steve!

Dan in Pasadena 09-13-2006 02:58 PM

Get well soon oh, and BIG thanks for all the help over the years,
Dan Estrada

(Someone local print this out and deliver it to him at the hospital)

930addict 09-13-2006 03:24 PM

Wow I hope whatever it is isn't serious. I "met" him over at rennlist when I first bought my 930. I had a whole bunch of questions so I sent him an e-mail as it was clear from his posts that he knows all about these cars. He responded promptly, even late at night, no matter how stupid my questions were and knowing he wasn't making any money off me. What a great guy. I have alot of respect for him.

Get well soon, Steve!

Noah930 09-13-2006 03:33 PM

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. He was also a help to me when I lived in Portland a couple years ago and purchased my car.

HarryD 09-13-2006 05:48 PM

Steve was one of the first P-car guys I met when I was looking for a car and certainly made me feel like I was already part of the "club".

Best wishs for a speedy recovery..

CBRacerX 09-13-2006 06:37 PM

A real gentlemen, hope all is well.

nabilious 09-13-2006 06:56 PM

JTO 09-13-2006 08:10 PM

Jeez! Poor Steve. He is truly a great guy and a good friend. He too has helped me in so many ways. The poor guy NEVER takes a day off. Steve, I've said this before; even you need some rest!

I hope and pray all is well.
Troy

Mad Mike 09-13-2006 08:25 PM

I appreciate all of Steve's assistance with my questions on cars, what a great resource of information.

I also have known Steve since the '70's.

Get well soon!

I agree, He was a great help to me in getting my ducktail shipped to Hawaii at a reasonable cost as well as answering my boneheaded questions about his products.
