Big Red Brakes

I have fitted my 82 911 with Big red calipers and rotors does not stop as good as i would have expected do I have to upgrade Booster and Master cylinder to match

Yes, I think that it is the part of the solution. Make sure you've bled the system really well and seat in the pads.

You really need the 23.8mm turbo MC for those calipers. Your booster should be fine.

In what way?

I have 2 cars w/ thoose brakes and haven't noticed any defficiency.

They don"t seem to be much different to the originals and as they are obviously considerably bigger ,so maybe I was expecting too much , but I am going to try the bigger mastercylinder as has been suggested to me ,any thoughts ?

Yes, you absolutly need the 23.8mm 930 m/c!

While Big Reds do generate more torque than stock, their big benefit is lower operating temps under DE/race conditions.

Pads can effect the feel of the brakes as well, For street use Textars, Pagid Blue, Ferodo 2500 are all good choices.

Lastly ultimate gripp depends on tires.
