911 Running Fast

I've owned my 1985 Carrera for 6 months. Several folks I've talked to have stated that the engine needs to be run fast. One guy was a slug, so I'm not putting any credence into what he says anyway. But there were some folks that I think well of. I don't like to run an engine hard, but I've never owned a P car before. It's a 3.2 engine, part no. 93020-63F. Any thoughts.

One thing is fast, another thing is right. P-cars are great cars but need to be driven right. You can call that hard or fast; but regardless, if you do the right thing the car will appreciate it and you will smile. I would advise you to register on a track event ASAP to learn more about the machine - you'll enjoy it and be amaized of the things "those cars" can do. IMHO, drive it hard - whatever that means.
