What's Waldo? help identifying parts

Pulled the webbers off of the 3.2 in the 72 project car I bought. I had a few questions about identifying parts and what to upgrade as I go through this.

In the picture, I'm assuming the yellow arrow is a canister type fuel filter?

The fuel pump - white arrow was bolted to the left carb to manifold mount and was a pain to remove. Is this the best location?

The pressure regulator - below the blue arrow was not mounted to anything, how should this be secured?

What is the blue arrow going to - a thin tank on the rear wall, is this a charcoal canister for vapors?

The red arrow is a line mounted to each manifold - is this a fuel return????????

These braided lines look ok but are probably 20 years old, should they be replaced and with what?

HI your yellow arrow is to a fuel filter for a MFI engine.
the blue arrow is poss to a air tank for vack' on a sporto , without a better photo.
the red arrow could poss be for the vac' take off for the brake servo. (as it is a 3.2 engine)
the fuel pump is usually under the car near the L/H torsion bar tube.

regards mike

The yellow arrow is pointing to a MFI fuel filter ($$) but it certainly is not the right one to be using with a lower pressure carb pump mounted in the engine compartment. Definitely relocate that pump forward, probably near the tank. Your other guesses are probably correct to the lines and functions etc.
I have to wonder why anybody would swap a DME based 3.2 motor to carbs and then stick it in a formerly MFI 911. Quite the morphidite configuration you have there. Hopefully you did not pay too much for it.
Good luck! YMMV

It is a sporto car currently, the air tank makes sense. The car is a blend of many different parts through the years. Started life as a 72 911T sportomatic. Has had numerous SC and Carrera "upgrades" over the years. The engine came from a wrecked 84 but was converted using weber 46 IDA's.

Intent is to get it running and make it more of a track machine since originality is long gone.

Any more thoughts/advice appreciated.

Thanks,
