? Purpose of Oil vent hose?
The little hose that goes into the Air box. What is its purpose? Function? Emissions?
Can it be disconnected and just have a filter put on it. Going for new air filter

Yes, leave it on. Yes it helps with emissions with no detriment to running (so long as you don’t over-fill with oil.) Yes, it improves the engine power performance by reducing the pressure in the crankcase. This allows the oil to fall out of the air-oil atmosphere, reducing the pumping losses. Best, Grady
