Source for Baseket Weave Dash Insert for 1971 911?
Hi,
I've searched the archives (and PP) but to no avail. I only found info on basket weave for seats, which I'm not sure is the same thickness. My 1971 T needs the basket weave for behind the radio only (the rest of the basket weave dash insert is fine). Does anyone have a source or a good used one? Again, I just need the piece between the heater vent and the glove box door to put behind my radio. Many thanks, in advance. Cheers, John |

Thanks. Anyone have an old, beat-up door panel that they want to sell some basket weave off of?

There is a guy who lists the material on e-bay on a regular basis. More than you need, but it was pretty cheap.

How much material are we talking about? I have some new material left over from another project. I can upload a digital image tomorrow if you are interested. Just cover the cost of shipping from Chicago, Illinois

Careful buying the stuff on ebay. I bought some from someone in Canada - don't remember the name - but the weave was all wrong. It was too big. Now I have a roll of non-matching vinyl sitting around.

Thanks for everyone's replies and suggestions. I was able to find an NOS piece for behind the radio.
