Forgetful here - where does the connection to the top of the wastegate lead to?
.......and what is it's actual function? I must admit, I don't recall. I went out to survey the situation for tool usage before I installed the Tial wastegate and......there is *nothing* leading to this connection at the top of the wastegate. Looks like something was left off?

It is just a vent and is usually conneted to the air filter housing, unless your car is a 935 with an adjustable boost wheel, then it is a whole different story.
