Alternator question

Which alternator do i have to get...

I have a 74 911 2.7.... The alternater has MOTOROLA S E V on the back with the Diode plate on the outside. And external regulator.

It has the 3.75 pulley and the 245mm fan...

I ordered a replacement but the replacement alternator was too long.

What gives... Are these now unobtainium type parts...or are they
cantaffordium type parts?

Chris

That is the 770 Watt, 55 Amp Marchal alternator.

Yes, everything but the odd M16 x 1.00 nut are still available. Your alternator can be rebuilt by local motor/alternator shops.
