Just another guards red 911, but its mine!

Hey everyone, I finally got a couple of photos of my car that I thought I would share with the good people on this board. Some specifics: 1989 coupe, 4th owner, 57K, numerous suspension upgrades, Fikse 17" 8" and 9" wheels, SO2 Poles, Borla exhaust, Sport seats, yada yada yada.
I was shocked when I was able to get this plate on my first choice!! I guess there aren't alot of crazy 1989 911 owners like myself living in Pennsylvania. Sorry if the wheels are a little to flashy for some, it just happen to be a really sunny day. Thanks for the look, Michael

You don't drive a red 911 if you don't like flash - the wheels are a nice accent to a beautiful car. Nice job!

Willie, Alright, you forced me to post another I think you can see what lowering and wider wheels does to the stance on this photo.

Yes Indeed, nice car, I have a Blk / Blk 1986 911 Turbo, and am looking to change the wheels, do you have any pics of the car "side on" so as to get a good look at the car / wheels !?

This is the trouble with outdated photography. To get a few pics you have develop a whole damn roll. I have to get a digital camera! Sorry I did'nt get a good shot of the wheels, I 'll get one up soon. Thanks for the positive feedbacks.

Until I get my other photo's developed, I found this track pic that is a side on. The wheels are in motion but it still a good action shot.

You know the anodizing really does look great. I was considering getting this done but never having seen it until now I was unsure, (also another $200 on top). I think from their description it was going to more of a gray finish. The finish on mine isn't as much a chrome look but a billet aluminum machined finish with a clearcoat. Of course when they are cleaned (a pain in the ass), and its sunny, they still can blind you. Take care, Michael!

mine are what's called racing black, with anodized lips...i decided to go with the black finish because i was not sure how the polished chrome finish would look with my black cab top....i considered the full anodized look but decided to go with the racing black, sorta like some of the race cars you see. you are also right about the price, $50/wheel, did you get yours direct, or go through a dist?

I got them from Docherty Automotive out of Philadelphia. The best price was Windward but Docherty matched them. WheelEnhancement prices were higher.

Everything on my car is factory ordered, front and back spoilers, sport seats, sport suspension. I've added Bilsteins, turbo tie rods recently. It's really very stock except for various add ons. I still have the original Fuchs which I use for track events. I think I'm done putting money into this vehicle or I will be trying to sell this car for $35,000 to recoup which will never happen.

ditto, i paid $22K for mine, and have already dropped another $15K in add-ons, etc. i've thought about trying sell or trade for a later model coupe.....i don't think i'd ever get $35K or even close to $30K...who knows?
