Replacement Keys
Guys/Gals:
Have just recevied my replacement keys for the broken-in-two alarm key for my 911 SC. Tony Euganeo of Sharon Hill, PA (near Philadelphia) received by broken alarm key, and was able to cut a new key blank, all of the princely sum of US$ 9.00, including postage. He also sent me literature for his services, and he has blanks for every kind of Porsche key imaginable, all the way from 356 to 928. He is a true wizard, who I had met years ago at a Potomoac Region Swap Meet, and saw again at Stoddard's Swap Meet three weeks ago. He had the keys back to me within 10 days, and they work. Tony at 610.461.0519. You can't go wrong if you need replacements......Andras |

Andras, It is nice to know there are still a few highly competent people out there that enjoy doing quality work, but don't take advantage of customers in the wallet! It reminds me of the attitude I distinctly remember at VW and Porsche dealerships in the early and mid-'60's ... they ENJOYED doing quick, courteous, competent work at very reasonable prices, knowing full, well that happy customers generated more business than any advertising campaign!!!
It is really sad to say, but I only know of a couple of Porsche dealerships that I have encountered in the past 22.5 years that I could say that about, and now that Vasek Polak has passed on, I have to wonder if his enthusiasm and integrity are still present there. His was, in the '70's, '80's, and early '90's, the most incredible dealership, shop, and showroom 'prescence' and experience I have ever experienced! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

Bob:
Location is not really an issue here. When I lived in Washington DC, we often ordered from California. Give Tony a call; he's quite nice, and he's very honest. And the US Postal Service is reasonable and quick (all that competition, contrary to the Oil Companies, but I digress!!). I really recommend him, and at his reasonable prices, there is absolutely no reason anyone should be without ALL of the requisite keys. He even has the transmission key for the 356 (the way I first met him years ago)...Andras |
