Light 'Em Up App by Bosch

Have you seen the app from Bosch that can help measure 0-60 times, lateral Gs, and supposedly even HP?

I installed, but haven't tried it yet. Amazing that someone can even come up with something like this.

You can even upload your data to Facebook or Twitter.

I use Dynolicious on my iphone. It measures the following:

0-X times every 10 MPH up to your Max speed.

Elapsed time for 60', 330' and 1/8 mile, 1000' and 1/4 mile

Max Speed
Max Acceleration
Peak Horsepower

It works pretty well. The hardest part is find a place that the iphone can be securely located pointing forward in the car that you can reach to hit the start button.

With the Bosch app once you get the "green" it starts timing when forward motion starts. It waits for YOU.

Work Great and it's only $5

I did it for the Van (3.5L) on the highway with nobody insight... The result are excellent, I left many "sport" car standing at the light

I got Das Babe weighted and I'm just waiting for my windshield holder to show up (I try it without and the Iphone was flying every where so the recording does not work, actually the machine figure that out out and post something like Run cancell).

I ask on the board what the Powertrain loss was and also search and 13% seem to be the answer.

I'll confirm with S.W. latter today.

You can e-mail the result and the Dyno picture.

Can wait to do it with Das Babe

For Droid users, there's "adyno". Very cool free app. Includes an awesome GPS lap timer with a realtime G-force graph, timed runs, dyno, etc.

Like I mentioned, I love to be at the light with a rice packer... they are stunned.

The torque steer is unbelievable... don't let go the steering. Check the G force bump at the 1 second mark.
