Tech say fuel injectors are reading 6 ms and sb 2 ms. What is issue and correction option.

It is in shop for electrical problem. No start. Looking towards dme relay (computer?).

I ask because if that is something that needs correction, while it is in the shop would be best time.

Before it shut down (and wouldn't restart) it started promptly every time.

Thank you,

Sounds like they think the injectors are staying open for 6ms during the "squirt" cycle vs. 2ms. If that it true you would be injecting too much volume of fuel and she would basically be in flood mode. I'd be curious how they are going to adjust/fix that condition on a OEM ECU. Keep us informed.

Yes it is flooded, because of constant cranking trying to get it to start after a shut down while driving on the highway. The dme has been diagnosed as bad, and is being sent out for bench testing.

My wrench mentioned the 6 vs. 2 and I wanted to figure it out.

I will ask him what it is doing now, and let you know.

regards,
