Rectangular side view mirror

I have a 76, and the mirror is not functioning. I can hear the motor when I move the joystick, so I feel that a cable may have been disconnected.
Anybody have experience taking these apart?

Mine is a '76 and it doesn't quite look like the one described in the link. Just trying to get the info before I tackle the problem and start breaking things.

No, the later mirrors are different. Try this one:

Flag Mirror Help

When searching, select a search term, select search titles only and select the 911 technical forum. That will weed out a lot of useless threads.

Thanks, it helps to know the technical name. It sure cuts down on time searching for these things.
