Where does this part go?
 

So, I was replacing the steering shaft bearing. I had the plastic T-shaped plenum off the blower fan under the windshield wipers off. When I went to button things up I noticed this little W-shaped clip or spring thingee laying on the panel where the smuggler's box clasp is riveted. I win!!!! It's a spring that holds the vent directional vanes in place. This would be the center dash vent. I took mine out recently to clean and had to rethread this fine piece of engineering. yours probably fell down the hose and came out when you disassembled the unit.
