What Transmission do I have
The car is a 73 911 E
The numbers on the bottom of the transmissions are 7323167. The shift pattern is a regular 5 speed H. 1st is up and left. Reverse is down to the right. Thanks Chris |

That's a 915 gearbox. Versions of the 915 were used from MY1972 to MY1986 and the gear pattern you described is consistent with a 915.

Thanks Bill - also of note is that your gearbox will have the 7:31 ring and pinion (lower gearing ratio than later 8:31 which means you have the right one for better acceleration with a 2.4E motor).
