Installing 86 dash in an SC??? Help, please?

There was a post back about a yr ago about putting a 86 or newer dash into a SC or older car and I cant find it. Any one here done it or know of someone who has?? I could sure use some advice. lol. Mark

The dash was changed in 1986. The vents are bigger in the center and on the sides. You will need those vent pieces as well. (I have some of them).

except for the larger center vent everything is pretty straight forward. Remove the old one, clearence center vent, install new, sit back.admire work, drink a beer.

Another small thing; well depending on how you look at it. You most likely will have to remove you windshield and dash pad as well to do the swap.

Kevin, and Matt or Jim, Have you guys done this dash swap?? Also, I want to use the dash part that is directly under the top dash pad too. Anything to know there about removal or install?
