Do shocks settle/lower after while
As the post says, do shocks settle after several months? reason I ask is that now after changing my shocks several months ago, my tires are rubbing on my front fenders. Usually during a hard corner. They never rubbed before
Tires are BF Goodrich G-Force KDW II 205/50/ZR17 frnt 255/40/ZR17 rear Never had a problem w/ SO2's of same size before and until recently didn't have problems w/these tires until about 2 weeks ago

Different tires have different dimensions, even if they are the same nominal "size." I suspect the Goodrich tires are a hair wider than the Bridgestones, or something.
But yes, shocks settle.

When I replaced my bilstein inserts/shocks the ride height increased for a week or so, then settled down almost as low as before.

If they're gas shocks, yes. They might.
If they're hydraulic shocks. No. Sherwood |
