Boost manifold
I have some 930 cis parts and have a boost manifold. I have seen some cars not using this. Is it really needed? Looks like it may have a idle controll on it is this the case. I really would like to keep it simple so if the car doesn't rely on it for performance, I would ditch it. Thoughts?

You can replace the BOV assembly (pictured) with a 965 unit as done when going to a long neck intercooler. The throttle (idle) bypass valve is not needed unless you have a lightened flywheel or a short stroke engine.

Frankly, I don't understand what you are talking about???
Thing in the picture is intermediate plenum and hosts the blow off valve. 930 intake system is built that way. Yes, you can ditch it. Actually, you can ditch most of 930 intake as it's not performance-friendly. Nothing on 930 intake is. But you will still need BOV, plenum and throttle body.
