Dash Trim Install

I recently had my stereao stolen and they damaged the dash trim . I just bought the new pieces and was wondering if anybody has some experience and tips. What type of adhesive did you use? How did you cut out the blanks for the switches?

1.) 3M double sided tape
2.) 3M adhesive spray
3.) 3m adhesive glue

I used the 3m adhesive spray on both cleaned metal front and back of the foam. One shot so line it up good. Doesn't hurt to use some spring clamps on the edges with a board to distribute the hold.
