Would CIS work on my 2.0/2.2?

I am thinking of replacing my webers with MFI or CIS. Basically whichever I can find the quickest. Would a complete CIS system bolt up to my 1967 911 engine? Its a stock engine with electromotive ignition and a port and polish.

Don't do it. CIS cams are very specific with NO overlap. Pistons in CIS motors are different on the top shape. MFI is a better choice, but still not w/o its own set of problems. Again, you will have to change the cams to get the pump drive, the fuel pump for higher pressure and some sheet metal.

For all this, you could buy new PMO's or have your Webers rebuilt (if that's what's needed) and have money left over on the rebuild choice.
