sluggish when warm

when my 79 sc is warmed up(210degrees) acceleration and power seem to be sluggish. Just completed a major tune up and not much improvement-any suggestions?

1st I'd make shure the distributor hasnt moved in the Tune up.........Does your nine have a catalitic converter on it? If you do, it may have bit the big one.
It will glow at night if it's clogged really bad.If not, then is your oil pressure up to snuff at that temp. you mentioned? Does it drop down at the 210deg? Is your Termostat making proper gurgling noises-letting you know hot oil is going up to the front cooler? Sticking open doesnt help the oil pressure keep up. Pressure is power. Are there alot of miles on the car? Might want to consider Compression check on all six....your power might be slipping out the side of a head somewhere.
What do you think Warren?

Skip raised some good questions, but I think we need a little background info before looking in specific areas. How long have you had the car, and is the sluggishness just a recent thing you noticed, or is the car new to you and you are just disappointed in no improvement after the tune-up?

In the process of your tune-up, did you check ignition advance operation over the idle to 6000 rpm range? Do you have the factory 'spec book?'

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't a lean mixture cause high temperatures? My mixture was lean and it was very sluggish when warm (180degF). You could try checking that out. Good luck.
