estimates for complete valve job
Im seeking ballpark estimates for having a shop do an entire valve job on a 78 3.0 SC.....
As far as rebuilding a 3.0... what are we looking at 10k? I was having a conversation with a friend..and we are at somewhat of a disagreement on about what it would cost for the above? Any one been through any of this? Dave

not a fair question. It depends on how many valves, valvesprings, rocker arms you need to replace. Re-rings or not re-rings, how much machining you will need, and whatever else may break.

The valve job part will be around $1,000. Yelcab is right about the rest, but if you budget $10k you should be in good shape, as in all likelihood it will be less.
