early heat exchangers
Would these work similar to SSI's for a 3.2?

Yes.
Not quite as good, but similar performance. The SSI's are equal length both sides. The stock early exchangers are slightly unequal on the passenger's side to facilitate easier install/removal. Also, I've found the primary pipe I.D. to be much more consistent on the SSI's than on the old used factory HE's. SSI's are always exactly 35mm I.D., and I've seen many factory sets where some were 35mm, and others were as small as 33mm, presumeably from warpage.

Would you say an improvement on the stock 3.2 setup?

For the street, yes. it will sound better, and improve throttle response and low-mid range torque. You may lose a little at the upper extreme of the rev range though due to the smaller primaries.

Thanks Tyson.
I'll go check them out. I think they're down the street from me. Oh, I forgot, will all hte heat heat and muffler stuff bolt straight into them?

No, you'll need an early muffler, early oil lines, and early engine tin and heat ducts on the motor.
