WTB Center Console SC
Hi
I need a center console, which I imagine is the console from the ashtray area down. I need it simply for a structure to mount a bunch of gauges in my SC. Condition is not that important. Thanks! Pat

Thanks! I emailed you the particulars. I owe you one! Everyone else: Kurts response speaks well of a fellow Pelican's generosity and spirt of helpfulness. The world should have more pjv911's. Pat

depending upon how long you can wait, I will have a black one to give away this winter. Already has and volt meter and air/fuel gauge attached.

I'm right down the road from you in Hollis. I'm just getting my 1980 going now. I am going to change the interior color of my car, maybe I could trade you the tan one I have for your black one? If I get a little crazy I may just rip the interior out, but haven't made that decision yet.... ps - sorry to hijack this thread! |

I don't have the tape cassette holder in it any longer but when I do take it out, I am not planning on replacing it so it would be yours no charge. I am stripping down the interior to save weight where I can and when I recarpet I'll be removing the rear seat backs as well.

I'm not sure what I'm doing with the interior. The car was unused for a while, so it's in ok shape, but could be replaced. I want to get some new seats and change the color from tan to black. I have two little kids though, so I need to keep the seats in the back. Do you do any track days at louden? I want to get it out there as soon as I can.

I have not tracked the car in a few years. I have exhaust valve guides that are worn and thus the motor is burning oil more frequently than I like. So I'll be doing a rebuild next winter and then may get back out on the track again. I have an 18month old but my car is very loud and my wife is dead set against letting him ride in the back seat. That and the Brey Krause harness bar doesn't help that situation.
