				1970 911 Trunk layout

I just bought a 1970 911T that needs considerable work. I bought it because I wanted to restore another one (the last one was a '68 ten years ago). I have had several early 911's before, but it has been 3 or 4 years, so the memory fades.

This car needs to have the front pan replaced. I have the pan and started to disassemble the trunk area, pulling the gas tank. Much to my chagrin, I discovered that the pan had been replaced before (poorly). There is some fiberglass around the edges of the pan on the sides and the pocket areas around the battery have been covered. In addition, the fuse block has been moved. Does anyone have any pics of the front pan area (from the top) so that I can see what is supposed to go where? I need a pic of the battery area also. I also have a question about color. This one is all grey, even under the gas tank. I seemed to recall the inside of the trunk being the color of body. Any help is appreciated...... David Nolen 1970 911T |

the inside of the trunk was most likely semi-gloss black, but possibly the same color as the body. Most were black, especially those made by Karman. I've got some photos I'll try to post. -Scott

PM me your email and I'll send you a bunch of photos. I documented mine prior to disassembly, so I have a bunch. -Scott
