Follow the Dancing RSR

These guys do some great vids.

http://www.gt3000.com/home/index.php?id=100

Click on the one titled 'Scuderia Hanseat -Fall2006'

One of the more entertaining videos i have seen in a while. A GT3 following a well driven and well sorted RSR replica toying with a 3-series. I bet that the RSR guy was having more fun than the other guys!

Cool videos. The audio is much better than a lot of on-board video. I like hearing engines instead of wind.

The one labeled "getaway vs. gt3000" says Stolkholm in the title, but it is clearly nurburgring.

Why do most people feel the need to add house (or other) music to track vids these days? Do they think it will expand the viewing audience? It prevents the viewer from hearing all the car sounds for cripes sake. It's a nice video aside from that annoying fact.

I don't understand it either... the music is the engine. Why do the Euro guys (and a lot of others) always usually put some crappy heavy metal or mid '80's ****e? Do they think it's cool or something? At least in this one, the GT3 soundtrack is full on!

The guy that makes those videos and runs that site (GT3000) is Nils. He has posted here on Pelican a couple of times under PCP I think. VERY cool guy !! I met him and his friend Michel at the Nurburgring a few years ago. K9Handler was there too. Got to go for a few laps with Nils in his (then Gulf via vinyl sticker) GT-3 and also with Michel in his GT-2. VERY FUN to go with someone that gets year passes EVERY year and REALLY knows the course.

Eric McKenna hooked up with him at the ring too.

Sometimes I like the music with the videos and sometimes I don't. I think most people watching videos don't like the engine sounds as much as the p-car nuts here on Pelican... I DO agree, nuthin quite beats the sound of a motor whailing away !!!!

Rumor mill has it that he is getting (or has) a 997 Turbo now as well. Should provide for some good footage once he's got it sorted !!!
