Alternator issues?

Lately i've noticed my alt light glowing abit. Mostly when cruising around 3K.

Here's some voltages I took with my Fluke VOM.

idle: 14.5 or so, but 12 with the headlights on
3K: 14.5 or so regardless.

So whats up with my alt?? or the light?

(it does the usual red light on full at first start until I get it over 1500 or so, then goes out)

Any ideas on the best thread to research/read would be appreciated, thanks!

If the brushes inside the alternator are worn out, you can get this symptom.
