Front ARB mount reinforcement plates

Here are a couple pics that may be of interest, and may one day help in the archives, since when I was thinking about this, and searching, I couldn't find anything.

The plates were rosette welded in. There are low contour ribs in the plates as you can kind of see, which may or may not impart a little extra stiffness.

I caulked around the seams this past weekend but haven't painted yet. I will later. I apologize for the rough finger smearing job; in my tiny garage it's hard to really get a good angle on anything. I used a 3M caulk designed specifically for filling weld seams. It's tough, very rubbery stuff out of the tube, and has a neat tendency to creep into gaps. It can be safely painted when dry. It's a little messy to work with, but it's doing the job.

If there are other front sway bar mount reinforcement plate solutions, it would be cool to see them too.
