PPI/check out in N PA
A buddy of mine is looking for his first 911. Found this one on Ebay, looks nice from the ad.
Not much time left in the auction... any PA Pelicans out there familiar with this car (has PCA plates) or live nearby that can take a quick look it before the weekend is out? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Obviously a PPI would be nice, but finding a place open this weekend or before he can make his way up there is a stretch, so my bud may settle for a semi-qualified opinion, despite better judgement. I suppose I can drive up w/him tomorrow and check it out (offering my thoroughly qualified expert opinion).  Many Thanks. Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Yardley is in Bucks County along the Delaware River is S. E. Pa, not North Pa. Not far from a decent dealership (Holberts). Another shop within an hour that might be worth using are Fox (in Ambler, about a 45 min drive). There are probably other options on the Jersey side of the river. I'd repost this with a better description of the area as Bucks County Pa/Hunterdon County NJ and see what is recommended.

Thanks alot, guys.
After talking to the seller a couple of times, my bud has decided to pass. He just didn't get a good feeling about it. That combined with the short fused auction and being hard pressed to get a PPI before the end, he felt rushed. As you all know, finding the right 911 takes time and patience. Although this may have been "the one", there are plenty others out there and he'll find it eventually. He's in no hurry. We got great info and several offers from Pelicans to check the car out for him. Many thanks to James, Jim, Greg, Jascha, Rich and Howard for providing PPI info and/or offering to their personal time to help us out. That's what I love about this BBS and the great folks that make it what it is. Cheers, George
