Got pics of a lime green 911?

Tried to find some in the archives but it seems there are only a couple of threads, and what was posted was everything BUT lime green. Don't need to see viper, light green metallic, etc...

My recently-purchased 69T was lime green originally. It was very nicely repainted a different color, but d@mn, I love green 911s. Trying to talk myself into sh!?-canning the current paint, as nice as it is.

Don't remember ever seeing an early car in "lime green" before. I thought this color was in the 74 - 77 timeframe. This list may not be definitive but it does not show any lime greens in '69.

Do you still have the paint code tag on the car?

Lime green was correct for 1978. The same color may have also been called Sebring green.

Here's a photo of the SC I used to own.

I saw one on I5 in Fife, Wash., years and years ago, heading in the opposite direction; nearly wrenched my neck looking around to watch it go on by. Never lost that memory/image.....coupe with tail.

Was that a custom order? I never seen an SC that color. Maybe a euro only color?

That SC is beautiful. Wish that had been for sale when I bought my SC - would have saved a lot of time and money :-)

Yes, that is the paint code on the door jamb tag, and it is in the red book for 69 911s. It's there on my car itself in all the hidden places one would look for the original paint.

Thanks all for the pics. Those cars are a more lurid green than what I find on my car, they look like a brighter version of viper green. My car's green looks more like what you would find on, indeed, a really ripe lime - almost a forest or kelly green. Interesting.

Most of the ones posted are GELB GREEN, which most people refer to as LIME GREEN. There was a Chartreuse Green also.

And of course, my old car:
