915/40 Questions
My dad's 74 911 tranny could probably use a rebuild so I checked the numbers to see if it was stock (the engine's out of an 83 SC). It had a 915/40 stamped on it.
I did a search and it appears a 915/40 is from a 75. Is this right? Could it have come stock in the 74? Is it an 8:31 or 7:31? Thanks- Craig Backer |

So, definitely came stock with a 8:31 and was not stock in the 74?
