Where can I find one of these?
I have installed some later model footwell blower motors. These require the use of one of these guys to modulate the speed of the blower motors depending on the position of the switch.
So... Anyone know where I can get a new one? Thanks! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1165179707.jpg |
The part you seak is called a blower resistor

ok, thanks.

That is commonly known as a wire ound resistor with a center tap. What it does is allow the motor to run in two speeds by selecting the long path, more resistance, less speed or the short path less resistance more speed.
They can be obtained from any electronics house, you need to know the resistance between the ends. You can buy them with and adjustable center tap too, for a song and a dance. |
