Weber rebuild cost?

As most companies don't post the cost of the Weber components, can anyone give me an idea of what it will cost to rebuild?

1. I already purchased the re-build kit..gaskets, needle valve, and such.
2. They are 40 IDT but will be going to a 74 2.7 911 so the jets and such need to be changed.
3. So I'm thinking venturies, emulsion, main jet, idle jet, and needle air correction changed to 40 IDA type.
4. I do know cost of steel air horns and air filter.

Oh, another question, the Weber manifolds have a air port on each side which I assume would go to the vacuum on the distributor but I have read not to connect to the distributor but rather set timing in advance. What do you do with these ports...plug them?

1974 911 2.7 ROW.

Thanks,

Trying to get Christmas ideas sorted out.

iT IS PROBABLY TO FAR & TIME CONSUMING FOR YOU TO SEND THEM TO Australia but i have just had 2 40IDA Webers rebuilt totaly by a carby specialst out of Melbourne.I supplied the rebuild kits as they came with the carbs. He rebushed the shafts with Teflon bushes, re anodised all the parts as origional, supplied 6 main jets 6 air correctors 6 idle jets new nylock nuts, acid bathed the carb bodys & they look brand new.He then shrink wrapped them & posted them back to me in NSW within Australia. The cost for the job was $349 Australian.I have been restoring a 1974 911S & of all the work i have had done on the car this is without doubt the most satisfying result, they are brand new & run like a dream. The turn around time to the states via USPS International air is 10 days If you are still interested i can post his phone number.I will try to post a photo Cheers
