got my '70 T w/ S spec 2.4 motor for 13.5k. Needs some rust repair in front pan or possibly just gas tank support.
I KNOW i could've gotten a rust free, decent SC for the $15K I already have into this car but don't care. Nothing about this car is rational, i just love it! I will say this though, if you are even considering a later car then just buy the nicest example you find, model be damned. if you can stand those accordian bumpers or don't mind making changes and light weight isn't a big deal to you (is to me) then the whole SC world is your oyster. there will always be a faster car out there, so buy the quality car and have fun. |
This is what you need. A bit more money but hey :-)

This 82 SC was $14K, rebuilt motor, great suspension, new paint, 101 project car so many updates. Not perfect though, I've added some things IT needed (shocks) and some things I needed (SSI's). I'm a believer in the $20K 911 although this one would have been fine to drive as is for quite awhile.
You could also have the other for about that price :-) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1165679106.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1165679136.jpg |
