Automatic dimming mirror?
Guys,
Has anyone ever installed an auto dimming mirror into their Carrera? My rear-view mirror broke today and you can no longer switch it for day/night. For the price of a new one I can get an automatic one. Running the 12v to the mirror would be the only hassle and I would have to put a new mount onto the windshield. Does anyone know if the Boxster/993 or 996 use an auto mirror? I could probably find one used if they did. Any thoughts/opinions on this idea?

I love the ones that Audi has been using for the last few years, should work as well in a 911
